Bologna General Assembly with Key Note by Romano Prodi

The General Assembly of EMECA, the Association including 22 out of the most important European fairgrounds, will be held in Bologna on 12 and 13 October 2017. In 2017, EMECA celebrates its 25th Anniversary. The General Assembly meets on a six-monthly basis, hosted at one of the members’ venues, and works for two days. It is an important moment of exchange at which the members discuss the main economic data, the most critical aspects, the main strengths and weaknesses and challenges. Italy will be represented by the Fairs of Bologna, Milan, Rimini and Verona.

At this special occasion, Prof. Romano Prodi is expected to hold a key note speech, thanks to his long and prestigious experience in Italy and on the European level. It is customary that during the Assembly, the host invites an external speaker to intervene on economic issues, generally with a particular focus on the economic picture of the host country.
